On January 19th, sponsored by China University of political science and law and hosted by the national legal aid Research Institute of China University of political science and law, the "academic seminar on the establishment of the national legal aid Research Institute of China University of political science and law and the legal aid system" was grandly held in China University of political science and law in Beijing. Yang Zaiming, director of Beijing Zaiming law firm, was invited to attend.

On January 25th, the third circuit court of the supreme law heard a retrial of Xu Shuiyun`s application for administrative compulsion and administrative compensation for housing, which was represented by Yang Zaiming and Zhou Tao of Beijing Zaiming law firm, and pronounced a judgment in court: it confirmed that the forced demolition of the administrative organ was illegal, revoked some improper judgments in the original trial, and ordered administrative compensation. On the same day, the case was selected as the first batch of "typical cases of people`s courts giving full play to their judicial functions and protecting property rights and the legitimate rights and interests of entrepreneurs" issued by the Supreme People`s court

On February 6th, the 7th zaoming administrative rule of law forum and the theme Seminar on "property rights protection in the field of real estate expropriation", jointly sponsored by the constitutional and administrative law research center of Peking University and Beijing zaoming law firm, was grandly held in Beijing. The meeting focused on the "typical cases of people`s courts giving full play to their judicial functions and protecting property rights and the legitimate rights and interests of entrepreneurs" issued by the Supreme People`s Court on January 25.

On March 11th, the awarding ceremony of the "2018 second public welfare legal service Summit Forum and the top ten moving public welfare stories awarding ceremony of the legal service industry" was grandly held in Shanghai. Beijing Zaiming law firm won the public welfare love award by insisting on holding 167 issues of "public welfare lectures on demolition and rights protection".
